You know your favorite, the one you can't get enough of.... the one you swear is better than the other guy's favorite. Vote and say why yours is #1. First up at #1, since i get to vote first RE:CV-X the darkest story in all the RE games, period. This game marked the return of Wesker, and he's back with a few suprises. and yes, i love the Ashfords. the best characters IMO in the RE series, as far as their backstory goes. Two twins, born through scisnce, the product of a virus. A bond that no other two humans alive share, and then , you get separated, no contact for 16 years, your only friend, family, confidant... in hybernation. and when the moment finally arrives, to finally see that one person again, they have to watch you die as soon as you make contact. and YES, that is my favorite cutscene in RE History "The End of the Beginning" The gameplay is classic RE tradition, sure not as depth as other core titles, but it's classic RE, none the less. i made this poll 3 different times, and of course, i had to mess something up my 3rd time i put REmake's release date the same as RE1 the roiginal, Go me!

Mine is Resident Evil 3 Nemesis.
Who can forget there First RE game,It's my fav mostly because of Nemesis, being staked was pretty scary for me,wondering if Nemesis will be waiting in the next room got me big time,I was 9 when I first played RE3, my first encounter with Nemesis left me unable to touch the controller for a week.definitely one of my favorites.

I picked two because I could not decide...
Resident Evil Outbreak file 1: I liked the option of differant scenerios and the multiple characters (Kevin roxorz!!one1!) and numeral unlockables. I liked Monica, she was quite deceptiv amd devious.
Resident evil 4: I have a soft spot for Ada and Leon as a coupple. And also how random it all was, I mean a tiny version of Geroge Washinton? Too adorible to be taken seriously. >.< Salazar was my favorite character!

Outbreak File 2: First Resident Evil game to have moving and shooting! I mean come on, how can it get better than that? RE4 you still had to stop and aim to shoot, same with Dead Aim and Survivor....Now that I think about it, only difference between RE4 and Dead Aim is the fact you go into 3rd person view rather than first person view.
Dead Aim: Being able to shoot the d**n zombies in the head, as well as Capcom showed the sterotypical American as Bruce's character. Funny IMO that they did that.

picked 2 as i couldnt chose just one.
re zero i just like billys character and it is such a bummer that he was framed.
re4 i liked it for most of the reasons others say that hated it.

Outbreak Files 1 and 2
A wonderful premise, surprisingly deep characters (minus Jim), the best gameplay out of any RE game with several nice additions like melee weapons, walk-and-shoot, and tackling, and some of the most memorable dialogue I'd ever seen.
"Bob, where's your mind AT?!"
Also, the puzzles in both were amazingly well done and cleverly put together, the enemies and bosses are the best, and online play is the funnest thing I've ever done in gaming.
Also the huge amount of unlockables and replay value kept me busy for a very, very long time.
If only the games had better A.I., then maybe it would of gotten the love it so rightly deserved...
My second choice would be REmake.
