i love George Romero's movies, especially the remakes of Night of the Living Dead, and the remake of Dawn of the Dead. The RE movies went downhill after Extinction. The only way i'd get really interested in the movies again would be if HUNK would be in the 4th movie. what do you think?

I love my zombie flicks, even the comical return of the living dead series. Romero is the father of the zombie movie lore, even if the remakes from today are more intense and a little creepier, he hit the note just right with what he had to work with back in those days.
The thing about the RE movies that bug me most, is it feels like an action movie, that had zombies just thrown in there just to call it RE. The first movie did have creepy zombies, and kind of a claustraphobic feel, but then the 2nd and 3rd, it was too open and everyone had guns and Alice became this super soldier, it was like the zombies were no sweat to handle.

yeah, i agree. but i have to admit, on the 2nd RE movie, my favorite part from all of the movies was the "GTA MOTHERF*****!" *thump *thump* "TEN POINTS!!!" but thats the only really funny part in any of the movies. i think i posted another reply on another one of the Movie forums. but did you know that Romero hired amputees for zombies that were missing arms? it shows that he doesn't rely hevily on computer graphics and that he will hire anyone.

LOL ;D yeah, LJ really did make the 2nd movie more enjoyable, funniest line to me everytime i watch is when he runs into the STARS gang and Nemesis first walks up on them and they all start getting in attck formation and LJ just looks around and calmly says "Ya'll MF'ers is crazy." ;D gets me everytime
and yeah, i saw a documentrary about that, about him hiring amputees, like zombies in the movies that had no legs or arms. he kept it as real as he could.

also that one part where he says "MFer please! My S--- is custom!" *pulls up shirt showing the 2 golden desert eagles) also the outtakes for the second movie were hilarious. my favorite one was near the end of the out takes where they are all in the car and LJ is driving (LJ making effect) *nnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr* *all shift to one side* *eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr* *carlos ducks under the dashboard and acts like he is throwing up"

Yep LJ think of him as the chris tucker in RE Extinction
