- Online Co-op mode - Single player mode may be similar to the way RE Zero worked out, bringing some light to the Re release of that game for Wii in Japan. This is hinted at through the online mode - Money pick ups are back from RE4 - Standard enemies don't seem as furious and aggressive as we had been shown before - Boss baddies do look fairly mean - A new, unnamed character at the beginning of the trailer Here are the videos: Trailer - www.gametrailers.com/player/36228.htmlGameplay Demo - www.gametrailers.com/player/36266.html

Well, you see. Resident Evil built a huge following for the series over the past ten + years. And now, they're trying to reach for a new audience with it's new action style gameplay.
The "Gamble" Capcom is taking with doing this is, the classic RE fans would've turned to RE for their #1 Survival Horror franchise with each new installment. But, now, they have to hope the new fans to the series will be as loyal, which i doubt it, since there are so many other action titles better than "what" RE is becoming.

contracts, we could've ended this long ago if you would've just accepted our opinion as well. but you had to start the attacks against ours first.
i never attacked your opinion, until you started on mine.
I understand why you love RE4... no lie, i loved it at first ,. too. but afterwards, when i'd go back to play an original RE, then play RE4 , it really sucked.
I'm sorry, that's my opinion.
Sure, it's fun to maximize a custom weapon, and blow stuff to smitherines, over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, again.
but, having to think, and backtrack, and solve those original RE stories, is what makes RE survival horror, when i play RE4 ....
Yes! I'm going to say it ....
It's no different than playing any other run n gun game out there.
The Originals put RE in a class of it's own with it's gameplay style and mechanics.
RE4 has sold out and joined the ranks of so many other titles around RE4's new genre... the only difference is it has somewhat of creeps and thrills which kind of make it more exciting than other run n gun games.

I know. It may make the game somthing different, and i actually to hope they plan on re-releasing the classic RE games to Wii.
Probably the last chance we'll have to play a decent RE game, before the new "run n gun splatterhouse" genre takes over

Wow! Glad I'm not the only one to agree that FF are the true scare games of our time.
Cannot wait for this game to be released. I sold my PS2 before FF3 came out, did anyone play FF3; and did it own up to what the first 2 were, or did it seem to decline is scare and entertainment.

It happens on forums. I';ve been busy getting mine going. And feel bad i haven't been around for so long.
I see my boy, ssgogeta is still lurkin around.
The Outbreak servers going down makes it hard to get conversations about outbreak goping; and i've talked TOO much about RE lately.
I'm just trying not to ruin or get tired of RE; so i can somewhat enjoy RE5... as long as they make it worth something this go around.

If you thought Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles was scary and disturbing for the Wii, the Wii hasn't seen anything yet! Fatal Frame IV will be an exclusive to the Wii only. The FF franchise debuted on the PS2 and it's 3 original titles have all been for the PS2, with FF2: Crimsom Butterfly Director's Cut available on the X-Box. If you think you know a scary game, this will put it on it's knees. RE, Silent Hill, Alone In The Dark, Clock Tower, Parasite Eve, Galerians, Siren ... I've played them all, and NO survival horror franchise can compete with the chills this game will send down your spine. It's that GOOD! and that SCARY!!!! If you've never played the first 3, and want something in the tradition of RE, and SH survival horror games ... this is it!!! There's no action, huge explosions, and blood covered monsters, it's you, a creepy settting, and hundreds of ghosts ... and if you think videogame ghosts aren't scary, I wish i could be there right beside you when you play the first 10 minutes of FF2: Crimson Buetterfly. There's no info on this other thanb it's being developed for the Wii by Grasshopper Manufacture, same team who brought you No More Heroes. Turn the lights out, crank the surround sound up ... I guarantee you, you will be turning down the volume, and turning the lights back on when this game comes to Wii this Fall. screenshots... Wii graphics are looking mighty good for this haunting title. And, as a bonus, for those who haven't seen a Fatal Frame game, I've found the perfect scene to get you acquainted. This is the opening for FF2 , i was telling you about. youtube.com/watch?v=qYfWJv8hPjc&feature=relatedAwarded scariest videogame cinema of all time, right there. Twin sisters, one, Miyu, can see paranormal entites. Her sister , who you play, can't. But, when miko touches her sister, she can see what Miyu sees.
