I'm going to have to agree on the Licker's, as well, cause they were the substitute for Hunter's in the game. Most of the beasts are slow moving, they're big and scary, but speed and agility is far more scarier and challenging that a big, slow hulking mass of a big monster.

yeah, i remember that version in the works long ago. then they scrapped it and started RE2 for the GBC, and scrapped it also. Then they get RE: Gaiden! poor ol game boy just never had a chance with the RE series.

I believe you because I've seen it, the early demos. But, i believe is was initially announced for the GameBoy Color rather than the Gameboy Advance... I could be wrong, though

Found an NES version of RE1 juist now. The masion set-up and inventory menus are somewhat identical to RE1. Don't know if Capacom had this idea for so long, or someone justy had fun programming the game to 8-bit. Still looks pretty cool www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnFWeujO9ko

Capcom does know how to cash in on their titles, thats for sure. But i will give RE DS credit, it really did up the gameplay experience from the PS1 original with the "Rebirth" mode, rearranging items and enhancing ALOT of the puzzles in the game.

you're really missing out on some great gameplay experiences through the DS. RE1 is just an option for portable RE1 from PS1. But, i'm a sucker for anything RE, so of course i got it.

I love RE:DS . It's the perfect portable of the classic RE game from 1996. Then you got Rebirth mode which does add a little spin on item locations and puzzle solving. I remember i flipped out when i first got to Richard in the hallway and actually had to physically give him CPR "myself".
Plus, finally, RE1 with NO load times, i love it, just hit a button, and the loading screen is gone.

LMAO thats pretty much all you can say to whoever came up with that theory. I'm still missing about 3 files in the RE0 scenario of RE:UC. Which i'm sure there's no epilogue files, since they're basically the same from the original games. Just hoping one i find will give a little insight to what happened to Billy after RE0 or Rebecca after RE1. I read the Caliban Cove book by SD Perry, but original novels, to me, do not count as RE Canon.

There are rumors about the "gunshot" at the end of RE0, after the cutscene when Rebecca and Billy bid farewell to each other, that THAT gunshot came from Rebecca, shooting Billy. Which is most likely to be bullshiz, cuz daaamn. Yeah, lol. some people try and look too deep when trying to accumilate a theory in anything. I'll have to rewatch that ending, cause i always thought it was suppose to be a Bravo member in the forest or something, in the direction of the Spenser Mansion. But, yeah, a bunch of "BS" on people believing she shot Billy.

That's a theory, but mine, honestly, is that Capcom put too much into the game when they made RE0 and figured questions wouldn't be asked from fans on her inconsistancy between RE0 and RE1.
I really don't gripe on RE games, i accept them fopr what they are. but those that know me know that this is my only gripe when it comes to RE Continuity from the games, it's all i get bugged by.
